If you encounter a suspicious email, website, or message claiming to be from STOKR, do not interact with it in any way – avoid clicking links, downloading attachments, or replying. Instead, follow these steps:
Document the Incident
Take screenshots of the suspicious content and download the email as an EML file, which contains metadata that helps our security team verify authenticity and track the source of phishing attempts.
How to Save an EML File
To download an email for verification, click the three dots menu and select "Download message" in Gmail or Outlook. If you're using QQmail or 163 Mail, click "Details" followed by "Export" instead. Once downloaded, you can view the file contents by right-clicking and opening it with TextEdit on Mac or Notepad on Windows.
Report to STOKR Support
Once you've documented the suspicious activity, report it immediately to STOKR Support via our request form or at support@stokr.io. Send the EML file along with your screenshots to our security team for analysis.
Remember: Your vigilance helps protect the entire STOKR community. When in doubt, always verify through official channels before taking any action. Thank you for your patience, vigilance, and trust in STOKR.
