STOKR's regulatory status in Luxembourg

  • Updated

STOKR S.A. is a registered Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) and Payment Institution (PI) with the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), Luxembourg's financial supervisory authority.

As a registered CASP, STOKR provides crypto-asset services, including custody, administration and transfer of the crypto-assets investors use to invest in and receive proceeds from digital securities offerings.

As a Payment Institution, STOKR can execute payment transactions, including credit transfers, used to move investment capital in stablecoins across subscriptions, redemptions and investor distributions. Fiat-currency payments (EUR and USD) are processed by MangoPay, a CSSF-supervised electronic money institution, under PSD2.

Both authorisations sit alongside the broader EU framework that governs the digital securities issued via STOKR, including the Prospectus Regulation and MiFID II investor-protection rules.
