How do I sign up on STOKR?

Before you begin, make sure you have the following ready:

• Have your ID ready: For individual investors, keep your passport or photo ID handy.
• Use a device that has a built-in camera for facial recognition.
• Browser recommendations: To optimize your experience, we recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox for setting up and using your STOKR account.

1. Create an investor account.

Click "Create Account" and enter your email and password. Click on the blue "Confirm Email" button to get started. You will then receive a confirmation email to activate your account (check spam too).

A) Register as an legal entity. 

Select the country where your entity is registered and click Continue. Your country of registration determines which investment options are available to your entity.

You will then be taken to the entity verification screen, powered by Sumsub. Before you begin, prepare the following documents:

• Articles of Association, Memorandum of Incorporation, or Trust Deed
• Certificate of Incorporation (if applicable)
• Recent extract from a company or business trade registry (not older than 3 months). If your country of registration does not issue such an extract, a Certificate of Incumbency and Certificate of Good Standing are accepted equivalents.
• Documents evidencing the control structure of the entity
• Recent, signed shareholder register or register of members

Once your documents are ready, click Verify Entity to begin the Sumsub verification flow.

B) Register as an individual.

The following steps are only for the individual investors. 

Select your country of residence and click Continue. Your country of residence determines which investment offerings are available to you.

Click on "Verify Identity" and follow the on-screen instructions to complete all steps. Sumsub will notify you once your identity has been verified.

2. Provide your tax id.

Enter your tax identification number (Tax ID) in the field provided and click Submit.

3. Connect your wallet.

To receive digital securities on STOKR, you need to connect an AMP-compatible wallet. Your AMP ID is a unique wallet address beginning with the letters GA.

We recommend SideSwap as the default option. Blockstream Wallet is available as an alternative.
