Redemption Guide (Investor Dashboard)

This article covers the investor-initiated redemption process: where the investor requests a redemption directly from their Investor Dashboard and sends digital securities to the issuer's treasury wallet to receive their payout. 

When a redemption window opens for a specific product, STOKR will notify you by email with the key details: the redemption value, payout currency, and the dates during which requests can be submitted.

Prerequisites

  • Confirm your KYC is fully verified on your Investor Dashboard checklist. If you have received any outstanding compliance requests from compliance@stokr.io, resolve these first.
  • Enable Two-Factor Authentication on your STOKR account.

  • We suggest creating a back-up of your AMP Wallet, 
  • Confirm you have full access to the AMP wallet holding the digital securities you wish to redeem. If you have lost access to your wallet, contact support@stokr.io immediately.

How it Works

The core mechanic of investor-initiated redemption: you send your digital securities to the issuer's treasury wallet. This transfer verifies your ownership of the payout AMP wallet and confirms the address to which your payout will be sent. The payout is credited to the same AMP wallet from which you sent the securities.

If you hold the same security across multiple AMP wallets, you must submit a separate redemption request for each wallet.

Step-by-Step

  1. Log in to your STOKR Investor Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the Redemption section.
  3. Create a new redemption request for the relevant security. Select the AMP wallet holding the securities you wish to redeem.
  4. After submission, the treasury wallet address is displayed on screen. You will also receive a confirmation email with the full redemption request details.
  5. Send your digital securities from your AMP wallet to the treasury wallet. Use the address provided after submitting your request and send the securities to this address. A small amount of L-BTC will be deposited to your AMP wallet to cover the network transaction cost.
  6. Once your securities are received in the treasury wallet, STOKR will verify your AMP wallet address and process your payout.
  7. You will receive the payout in the same AMP wallet from which you sent the securities, in the currency specified for the relevant product.

Payout Timing

Payout timelines vary by product and are specified in the product-specific redemption guide. As a general reference:

  • Payouts are typically processed within two working days of your digital securities being received and confirmed in the treasury wallet
  • Some products operate on a fixed daily payout schedule — refer to the product-specific guide for the applicable schedule
  • Weekend days are not counted for processing purposes

If you have not received your payout within the timeframe specified in the product guide, contact support@stokr.io with your investor ID and the transaction reference.

1. Which AMP wallet will I receive the payout in?

You will receive the payout in the same AMP wallet from which you sent your digital securities to the treasury wallet. The wallet address is confirmed at the point of sending.

2. What if I have lost access to my AMP wallet?

Contact support@stokr.io immediately. Do not submit a redemption request until this is resolved. See Token Recovery for the recovery process.

3. I hold the security in multiple AMP wallets. What do I do?

Submit a separate redemption request for each AMP wallet holding the security. Each request is processed independently and the payout for each is sent to the respective wallet.

4. I submitted a redemption request. What are the next steps?

Send your digital securities to the treasury wallet address provided after submission. Once received and confirmed, STOKR will process your payout. You do not need to take any further action after sending – STOKR will contact you by email if anything is required.

5. In which currency will I receive my payout?

The payout currency is specified in the product-specific offering documents and your notification email. 

6. Can I redeem partial holdings from a single wallet?

Redemption mechanics vary by product. Some products require full redemption of the holdings in a given wallet; others permit partial redemption. Refer to the product-specific offering documents or contact support@stokr.io.

7. What happens if I miss the redemption window?

If a redemption window closes before you have submitted your request, contact support@stokr.io. Late redemption handling varies by product and is at the management company's discretion. Late redemptions may be subject to fees as specified in the product-specific offering documents.
