When Do I Need to Verify My Wallet?

Only when you invest with a self-custody wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Ledger, Trust Wallet), wallet verification takes place during the investment process on STOKR. Before finalizing your payment, you will be asked to confirm ownership of your wallet:

• Stablecoins (Ethereum): Simply sign a short message within your wallet — no funds are transferred.
• Bitcoin (BTC): Send a small test transaction. The amount is automatically deducted from your total investment, so there is no extra cost.
