How to deposit digital securities to Bitfinex Securities

Digital securities issued on STOKR and listed on Bitfinex Securities can be transferred into your Bitfinex Securities account for secondary trading. The deposit is processed manually by Bitfinex Securities: you submit a deposit request, Bitfinex Securities issues you a Liquid Network address, and you send the securities from your AMP wallet.

Bitfinex Securities operates the deposit process end to end. STOKR cannot process, accelerate, or reverse a deposit on your behalf.

Before you start

1. The security is listed on Bitfinex Securities. Only securities admitted to trading can be deposited. See Which STOKR-issued securities are listed on Bitfinex Securities?
2. A Bitfinex account with Securities verification. Complete full account verification, then upgrade to trade securities. See How to create a Bitfinex Securities account.
3. Access to the AMP wallet holding your securities, and your AMP ID. STOKR-issued securities are held in an AMP wallet such as SideSwap or Blockstream app. See What are AMP wallet, AMP ID and Liquid Addresses.
4. Confirmation that you are eligible to trade that security. Restricted jurisdictions are set per issuance and published on the security’s listing page on Bitfinex Securities. Bitfinex Securities also applies platform-wide restrictions — see Prohibited Persons and Prohibited Jurisdictions. Eligibility to invest through STOKR does not imply eligibility to trade on Bitfinex Securities.

Important. Digital securities on the Liquid Network are Transfer-Restricted Assets. They settle only between AMP accounts authorised to hold them. Sending a security to a standard Liquid address, or to any address other than the one Bitfinex Securities gives you, will fail or result in permanent loss. STOKR cannot recover securities sent to the wrong address.

Step 1 — Submit a deposit request

From inside your Bitfinex Securities account, select the Help icon, then Support Center, then the Token Deposits category, then Deposit security tokens. Complete the required fields: token name, amount, subject, and description. See How to make a Liquid Network Token Deposit on Bitfinex Securities.

Bitfinex Securities replies by email with the Liquid Network deposit address for your securities. Do not send anything before you receive that address.

Step 2 — Send the securities from your AMP wallet

In your wallet software, enter your AMP ID, the deposit address Bitfinex Securities sent you, and the amount you are depositing, then confirm the transfer. The AMP ID is required so Bitfinex Securities can verify the transfer, which is confidential on the Liquid Network and not visible from the transaction alone.

Step 3 — Confirm the transfer

Reply to Bitfinex Securities with the transaction ID (TX ID) and your AMP ID. Your deposit is credited to your Bitfinex Securities wallet once receipt is confirmed. Deposits are processed manually, so allow a few business days.

Minimum amounts. Minimum transfer amounts are set by the issuer and differ for each security. For BMN2, deposits of 0.0001 BMN2 or more are supported. Check the terms of the security before you submit the request.
