Which investors can trade a security on Bitfinex Securities?

Three separate tests apply, and you must pass all three.

1. Restrictions on the security itself. Each issuance has its own restricted jurisdictions, set by the issuer and published on that security’s listing page on Bitfinex Securities. This is the test that varies most — check the listing page for the specific security.

2. Bitfinex Securities platform restrictions. Bitfinex Securities maintains its own list of Prohibited Persons and Prohibited Jurisdictions, which applies regardless of the security. The current position is published in Bitfinex Securities Restrictions: Prohibited Persons and Prohibited Jurisdictions.

3. STOKR eligibility, if you want to withdraw to your own wallet. You need a verified STOKR account and a registered AMP ID. Holding a security on Bitfinex Securities does not guarantee you can open a STOKR account — our onboarding requirements apply independently.
